Experience:

Space Invader 2023

I have just finished 3 months of work experience with space invader. This has provided me with valuable exposure to the industry, as well as an understanding of project management and the importance of meeting deadlines.

I have also had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from small spaces to larger commercial projects, which have allowed me to develop a versatile skill set and an ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.

I worked on many projects including Oldham council workspace, Oldham council exhibition space, Greenwich park cafe, London. Towneley Cafe & more.

AEW Architects 2022

Explored what it would be like in the day to day role as an Interior Designer at AEW.

This opportunity gave me the chance to add my own twist to McDonalds restaurants & exploring commercial design. While also gaining skills with CAD.

This was an extremely beneficial experience for me.

Up.route

(Self directed project: 2020 - present)

Using the four story building 'The Point Studio' in Cheetham Hill, and re-designing the space as a marketplace community hub. The concept is based around utilising the existing rooftop garden and growing produce on the roof to be sold downstairs in the marketplace.

This is a space where local stall holders, local artists and workshop experts can come together to share their knowledge with members of the local community.

Communicones

(Collaboration with Bruntwood)

Bruntwood specialise in office spaces. The aim was to re-connect separate floors of an office building. Myself and two other designers decided to create a design that allows the user to play with their senses in a fun & playful way, while also connecting all floors for a very bleak office building,

RNCM - Royal Northern College Of Music

The collaboration with the RNCM, was combining opera singers with a space we designed for them to sing. With our allocated space, myself and the team created an installation using recycled cardboard and projectors.
